England bowler Jofra Archer is in Bengaluru with his county, Sussex, for a pre-season training. He is working hard to be healthy in time to play for England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

His presence in Bengaluru is connected to the prospect of him playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. He was unsold in the auction and will not play for RCB in the 2018 IPL season.

His visit in Bengaluru is for a week-long camp with his county team to train in considerably better weather conditions. The England pacer is now out of the team owing to a long-term elbow injury.

Jofra Archer played for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023.


The same ailment prohibited him from competing in the IPL 2022 for the Mumbai Indians. He subsequently played for MI in the IPL 2023, appearing in just five games and taking two wickets.

According to media sources, in addition to Sussex, the men’s and women’s teams from Lancashire are training in Bangalore. They established a base camp at the KSCA Alur site on Tuesday.
