The Election Commission of India announced the dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
The election will be held in 7 phases , first phase to be held on 19th April , the second phase on 26 April, the third phase on 7th may , fourth phase on 13th may , fifth phase on 20th may , sixth phase on 25th may , seventh phase on 1st June . Results will be declared on 4th June.
Phase 1 – In Phase 1 voting will be done in 21 states / UTs across 102 constituencies.
Phase 2 – voting will be done in 13 states /UTs.
Phase -3 voting will be done in 12 states / UTs.
Phase 4 – voting will be done in 10 states/UTs.
Phase 5 – voting will be done in 8 states/UTs.
Phase 6 – voting will be done in 7 states /UTs.
Phase 7 – voting will be done in 8 states/UTs.
