Kolkata Knight Riders scored a massive 208/7 in the first innings to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad thanks to Andre Russell’s 64 runs off just 25 balls. In a tough contest with Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday, Harshit Rana’s amazing final over helped Kolkata Knight Riders won it by four runs.
Although Henrich Klassen got 63 from 29 balls and his partnership with Shabaz Ahmed appeared enough for visitors to go back home, all that was changed by Rana in that final over. Furthermore, the right arm pacer chipped in with three wickets during the game. Andre Russell also performed well for KKR both as a batsman and ball.
SRH batters though getting starts could not go on to make a big score and kept losing wickets in the middle overs which eventually led to their downfall in the end.
